Here are pictures of the birthday bashes.

We took the kids to the park with some friends from church, and BreeAnna's babysitters buried her in the sand. She didn't like it very well.

Here are the kids eating BreeAnna's cupcakes. BreeAnna didn't get very messy. Probably because, being the second child, this was not the first time she has had cake, so alas, it was not a novelty. She has never had her own personal cupcake before though, and she thought that was pretty cool. She ate more of it than Aaron did.
And here are the kids playing with Aaron's favorite birthday toys. I made the board for him, and Brian, BreeAnna, and I gave him the Bob the Builder machine team. It worked out nicely because Aaron played with the machines and BreeAnna played with the people. A few days later, however, Grandma's present arrived with some REAL train tracks, and since then he's hardly touched the Bob the Builder set, so thank you Grandma. Your gift is already well loved.
Thank you to all of our Grandma's and Grandpa's who keep our kids clothed and shod. While those presents will never be the favorites of the little kids, they are still greatly appreciated by the parents.
And why is Aaron's head labeled? We had a family night where we labeled each other with some good characteristics to remind us that we don't like to yell and scream at each other. Aaron has grown rather attatched to his label.
