Last weekend we went up to the Elton cabin to relax for the long weekend and go sledding. The snow was so deep it was pretty hard to get around but the kids didn't seem to mind the first day :). The snow was perfect for sculpting and BreeAnna made a snow feast with a little bit of help.
On Sunday we planned to got to Sweet for church. On Saturday Brian and BreeAnna went into town to get some groceries but got stuck in the snow on the way back. Luckily they had made it back to the subdivision. They tried to get the car unstuck for an hour, but the melting snow had made the road too slick. They finally walked back to the cabin. Brian texted the Bishop and asked for permission to administer the sacrament and he approved. Aaron and I made an attempt at playing the organ, and we took the sacrament, Brian taught a little about the sacrament and what a testimony was and we had a testimony meeting. The Spirit was there and the little kids were fairly quiet. It was a sweet experience.
We also had an epic snowball fight.
For the snowball fight Aaron, Brian, and a few other members of the family made this snow fort, with an underground entrance which Aaron loved.
