Green Eggs & Ham

Do you ever get in a meal rut?

Read some children's book for ideas :). I get really tired of the kids not eating what I fix, so I thought they might go for some green eggs and ham.

Doesn't BreeAnna look enthusiastic about it? Actually, it didn't do her any good. She still didn't eat much. Aaron liked it though.

Oh! And congrats Hayley and Jerry on your new baby!

Sledding Fun

My sister took us sledding at her in-laws house.

Can you tell that this child doesn't like the cold? She did enjoy the sledding though...

But only if Grandma went with her. We couldn't get Aaron to stop sledding. We had to post Mitchell at the bottom of the hill to stop him going into the ditch.

He's super-excited about his new fire gloves.

I think Aaron is the only one who will be sad when the snow is gone.

I wouldn't even bother to post this (since it is now February) if I weren't so proud of us! Also, since my sister is now far far away, I have to keep the new pictures coming (or old ones she hasn't seen, at least). This is the night before Christmas and I NEVER catch Brian doing anything embarrassing, so here's a good laugh :). The things men will do to get their kids into their jammies without a fight.

The kids finally understand Christmas and BreeAnna was so excited. She got dress-ups and a kitchen set with food. She kept coming out of the toy room for an hour with new dress-ups on.
Do you know how hard it is to find 2T size dress-ups!! Thanks Mom.
And this is what I'm so proud of. Someone gave us a home-made twin size bed for Aaron. It was a little too tall for a bed, so we used some paint we already had and turned it into a train table for his new Geo-Trax. He's in love. He plays with it for hours at a time.

Turned out awesome, didn't it!
