Here are the house photos, as promised...

Sorry, all you get is three views of the living room, one of the kitchen and one of the kid's room. Our room is just not ready for viewing, except the beautiful dresser which I already posted, and who wants to see pictures of bathrooms anyway. Well, unless it's in a design magazine, but I don't think our bathrooms are quite there :).

Here is the living room.
My sister-in-law and I painted the windows for Halloween.
Here's the west wall.
Here's the east wall. I love my vaulted ceiling and arched hall entries.
And I love my recessed lights and tray ceiling in the kitchen, and I love that I actually have space for a dining room table with two leaves!
The kids love the Winnie the Pooh border in their room, but they will be outgrowing it very soon.
And most of all, I love my new carpet. Our new house is 13 years old and has been through at least 2 owners. The previous owner had at least 1 dog and 1 cat. The house didn't smell too bad when we bought it because it had been vacant for a while so there was no one in to stir up the smells. We didn't know how bad it was until we cleaned the carpets. The smell was HORRENDOUS! I panicked. I didn't want my kids living in a house that smelled like cat and dog urine. So we pulled up the carpet and found that the animals had urinated pretty much everywhere except the kid's room and the room that they (the animals) slept in. The urine had soaked the carpet pad and the wood beneath. We had to buy an oil based odor sealing paint and paint the whole floor before we laid the padding and carpet. Thankfully we got a great deal on the carpet. Now it's all done and you would never know an animal lived in there.

My How the Time Flies!

I don't think I've posted since the beginning of the summer! That's what happens when you're buying a house. Everything else is put on hold. Well, we did buy a house out in Kuna and we love it. I'll post some pictures and tell the whole awful recarpet story later. But first I want to thank my Mom and Dad and Brian for my early birthday present.

It is beautiful. Sadly, I almost cried. I don't remember the last time I had a piece of furniture that I actually owned. Such is military life.

The kids are adjusting to their new home very well.

They like their new room. BreeAnna fell asleep reading in her bed today, as you can see.

And we still get around to seeing our cousins.
Ok, Kellie, I know this picture is old news, but I just couldn't resist.
